When an ECG is monitored through the defibrillator paddles, there is a time period between the actual defibrillation and the moment the ECG reappeares on the monitor. This time period is known as "Recovery Time".
Lenghy Recovery Times are caused by many electronic and physical factors, such as polarization. Q.R. Quick Recovery Defibrillator Gel is designed to significantly reduce monitor recovery time. This special formula resists polarization and minimizes peak voltages. Any charge that may accumulate is quickly and safely dissipated.
Q.R. Quick Recovery Defibrillator Gel has exceptionally high electrical conductivity (extremely low impedance) insuring maximum, uniform transfer of current. This high conductivity combined with its uniquely stable, non-thinning formula (resists thinning from body heat or perspiration) minimizes the risk of burns.
